1. Palabhishekam for Thalaiva
When it comes to the movie release of the favourite actors of the fans, it is nothing less than a festivity in South India. It is a common thing to see huge cut-outs of the popular movie personality erected ahead of the movie release for the Palabhishekam (milk bath). The cut-out is then offered massive garlands and then huge cans of milk are poured over the actor’s cut-out. This practice is followed for stars like Rajnikanth, Ajith, Vikay, Suriya and Dhanush.

2. Cold drinks instead of milk bath
When there was trouble starting to rise due to wastage of daily commodity, the fans started making use of cold drinks instead of milk. The fans of stars like Vijay started pouring Coke and other cold drinks for on the cut outs of the stars.
3. Beer Abhishekam works just fine
When Rajnikanth case came to light, the fans tried to be a bit more responsible and tried using a substitute for milk,so as to not waste milk. Fans of Vijay started using beer instead of cold drinks. Yes, the fans of Vijay poured beer over the cut-outs of Vijay, but they were stopped by the police at several theatres .This incident happened across Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu
4. Edible life-size statue of the superstar
Another shocking thing that the fans of Rajnikanth did was to make a life-size edible statue of the superstar. The statue was made up of chocolate with white chocolate dusting. The makers of the chocolate statue took some 168 hours and 600 kg of chocolate to make it. The Kabali styled statue is 5 feet and 11 inches tall.
5. Fan merchandise of Rajini
Naturally the fans are super enthu cutlets, so it goes without saying that they make sure they get their hands on every possible merchandise with their fav superstar’s theme. Be it outfits, accesories, you name it and there will be a special merchandise for every fan of every star.This time Kerala-based Muthoot Fincorp joined the Kabali mania by coming up with Superstar Rajinikanth’s face embossed on silver coins and pendants!
6. Mass bunk on the first day of movie release
There is this unwritten rule that the fans have to watch their superstar’s new movie release on the first day itself. So it becomes a mandatory practice of the fans to not miss the first day, first show of their fav celeb’s movie. Even if it takes a sick leave of mass bunk, the movie cannot be watched on any other day, only the first day first show will satisfy them. But some might get lucky just like this time when many corporate offices granted a day off on the release of Kabali to avoid piled up leave requests to the HR department.
