Three Army officers died as a Cheetah helicopter crashed in Sukna, West Bengal, on Wednesday.

Three Army officers died as a Cheetah helicopter crashed in Sukna, West Bengal, on Wednesday.

One junior commissioned officer was critically injured in the crash at the Sukna Military Camp.

Army officials said the chopper crashed at around 11.45 am when it was returning to the camp's helipad at Sukna from a routine mission.

While three officers died on the spot, the junior commissioned officer was evacuated and admitted to a hospital in a critical condition.

A Court of Inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

After launching the Jio service in September, now Reliance jio has crossed the 50 million subscriber mark in less than three months only. According to sources, Jio setting a new record has acquired 1,000 customers per minute (since September 05) and 6 lakh per day.

According to the report,”Jio continues to be the fastest growing company in the world and has crossed 50 million subscribers in record 83 days”. Airtel reached the same milestone of notching 50 million subscribers in 12 years, Vodafone and Idea took 13 years each.

Reliance Jio Infocomm launch its 4G service in market on September 5 and compete with other telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular, and as per the last update Reliance notched up 16 million users in the first month of its operation.

The subscriber of Jio has reached one fifth that of Bharti Airtel, which had 262.67 million mobile subscribers in October. According to the latest data by cellular association COAI, Vodafone had 201.90 million subscribers and Idea Cellular 180.25 million users.

The reports further says,”Beating industry estimates, the company has signed up an average of 6 lakh subscribers a day, which is a globally unprecedented feat for any customer-facing company including the likes of Whatsapp, Facebook and Skype”.

Jio has become India’s largest digital services operator with highest number of mobile broadband users surpassing telecom major Airtel’s 41 million 3G and 4G customers combined acquired over last six years.

Only on 4G to 4G comparison, Jio’s customer base is now five times that of Airtel around 10 million subscribers 17 times of Idea 3 million subscribers.

At Reliance’s 42nd annual general meeting, Ambani had said his new telecom venture would aim to acquire 100 million customers,”in the shortest possible time and create a new world record”. This would translate into a data usage of 250 crore gigabyte per month.

During the testing phase of 4G service only Reliance Jio has become the world’s second largest telephony market, sparked off a tariff war, and had onboarded 1.5 million users.

It is aggressively competing with players such as Bharti Airtel and Vodafone and is offering users data services free till December 31 2016, if they buy Jio connection by December 03 2016.

From January 01 2017 the data services will become chargeable with rates starting at Rs. 19 a day for occasional data users, Rs. 149 a month for low data users and Rs. 4,999 a month for heavy data subscribers. Jio has promised to keep voice and roaming services, free for life.

Modi Asks Small Businesses, Labour To Embrace Cashless Mode

In his first monthly radio address after demonetisation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged small businesses and workers to embrace cashless transaction through mobile banking and plastic money.
“I would like to tell our small and micro businesses to take up this opportunity to enter the digital world. You too should download mobile banking applications, install POS (point of sale) machines for swiping cards,” Modi said in his customary ‘Mann Ki Baat’ speech on All India Radio.
“In the way that large malls expand their business through use of technology, small businesses too can increase turnover by using simple user-friendly technology,” he added.
Modi told the country’s labour population how adopting digital technology would help end their exploitation.
“You have been exploited much…getting one wage on paper and another in hand. Besides, when you are paid every month, there is always someone outside the gates waiting to take a cut from your wages,” the Prime Minister said, addressing workers.
“Under this new project (demonetisation), we want your salary deposited in the bank account so that faithful payment of minimum wage is assured,” Modi said.
“And you, in turn, can use your mobile phone like an e-wallet to make payments to your neighbourhood shops for your needs,” he added.

இங்கிலாந்திலிருந்து திரும்பிய ராமானுஜருக்கு, காசநோய் பாதிப்பு அதிகமாகிவிட்டதால், அவரது உறவினர்கள் பயந்து போய், திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் இருந்த அவர்களது வீட்டில் வைத்துக் கொள்ளவில்லை. அப்போது, நம்பெருமாள் செட்டியார் அவரை அழைத்து வந்து, தனி அறை, தனி சமையல், சிறப்பு வைத்தியம் முதலிய ஏற்பாடுகள் செய்து, அவரைக் காப்பாற்ற எல்லா முயற்சிகளையும் செய்தார்.

ஆனால், ராமானுஜம் முட்டை முதலியவற்றை சாப்பிட மறுத்ததால், காசநோய்க்கு இளம் வயதில் மறைந்தார். அவர், கடல் கடந்து வெளிநாடு சென்றதால், அவரது உடலைக் கூட ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள உறவினர்கள் மறுத்தனர். ஆதலால், நம்பெருமாள் செட்டி அவர்களே அவரது ஈமச் சடங்குகளை செய்தார். ராமானுஜத்தின் மரணச் சான்றிதழ், இன்றும் செட்டியார் வீட்டில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

சென்னை பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பி.ஏ., பட்டம் பெற்றவர் நம்பெருமாள். முன்னாள் இம்பீரியல் வங்கி ( தற்போது SBI ) நியமனம் செய்த முதல் இந்திய டைரக்டர். சென்னை மாகாணத்தின் மேல் சட்டசபைக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்ட முதல் இந்தியர். முதன் முதலாக வெளிநாட்டு கார் ( பிரெஞ்ச் டிட்கன் ) வாங்கிய முதல் இந்தியர். தற்போது இந்த கார் விஜய் மல்லையாவிடம் உள்ளது. தன் வின்டேஜ் கலெக்‌ஷன் கார்களில் ஒன்றாக அதை வைத்திருக்கிறார் மல்லையா.

தான் ஈட்டிய பணத்தில் பெரும் பகுதியை, சமஸ்கிருத வளர்ச்சி, வைணவ கோயில்களின் திருப்பணி, ஏழைகளின் கல்வி, மருத்துவம் போன்றவற்றிற்கு கொடுத்து உதவினார். வட சென்னையில் பல பள்ளிகளும் சேத்துப்பட்டிலுள்ள சேவா சதனம் வளாகத்தில், தாட்டிகொண்ட நாச்சாரம்மா மருத்துவமனையும் இவருடை அறக்கட்டளை சார்பில் நடைபெறுகின்றன. சென்னையின் வளர்ச்சியில் இவரது சேவை சிறப்பானது.

இந்த நம்பெருமாள் செட்டியார்தான் தன் சொந்த உபயோகத்துக்காக, நான்கு பெட்டிகள் கொண்ட தனி ரயில் வண்டி வைத்திருந்தார். தம் குடும்பத்தினரோடு திருவள்ளூர் வீரராகவ பெருமாள் கோவிலுக்குச் சென்று வர இந்த ரயிலை உபயோகித்தார். மற்ற நேரங்களில் சென்னை சென்ட்ரல் ரயில் நிலையத்தில்தான் இவருடைய ரயில் நிறுத்திவைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.
இவரது பெயரையே இன்று, ‘செட்பட்’ தாங்குகின்றது.

இதுபோன்ற சாதனை தமிழர்களின் பெருமையை யாராலும் அழிக்க முடியாது🍀🅰
